HaPPy HaLLowEEN

Not only was this the weekend of nephews birthday but it was the scariest holiday that has ever existed. Halloween is the holiday that Sara also doesn't like just because of all of the scary things that are around but she does like coloring pictures so our house is all decorated for the holiday. Some may ask why she has to color pictures and that is because I am a mean husband and won't let her buy any more decorations cause we don't have anywhere to store them for the other 11 months of the year.
We spent our Halloween day searching the DI for the greatest costume that we could. We finally decided that we would dress up as rodeo clowns and ill tell you we were the best 2 Mr. and Mrs. clowns ever created. We spent most of our night here at home waiting for all or the little tricker treater's to come buy then we spent the rest of our night at the howl. We may have been a little over dressed for the occasion but that was okay cause we enjoyed ourselves. To finished the night off we went to walmart for a little ice cream and that was our Happy Halloween.

Harvest Weekend

Last weekend Bryce and I drove to Ibapah to ship cows and go deer hunting. We left Thursday evening. As we drove the 20 minuets to Brigham City I realized that I left my deer license at home. We had to drive all the way back and get it. Thank goodness that I have a great husband that was more than willing.
Friday morning we woke up early and gathered the cows. We sorted out the calves from their mommies. This year we loaded them right on the truck and sent them on their way. There was no waiting. All in all the process went smooth. Krystal showed up right when all the work was done:) We were glad to have her there.
Later that day Bryce, Krystal, and I went for a ride. Krystal and I rode on the four wheeler and Bryce on the motorcycle. We got a little lost, or maybe I should say that our road disappeared. We found a new road and headed for home. Krystal and I had fun, although I don't think she trusts my driving anymore.
Saturday morning we woke up early, got dressed in our camo and bright orange and headed out for a buck. After searching around and waiting all day we finally spotted us a little buck in the evening. Nathan, Bud, Bryce, and Krystal waited back on a little hill scoping out the deer. My dad and I drove the four wheeler up a road to get a closer shot. The deer saw us so my dad dropped me off sending me to some rocks with my gun. I walked my way up the side of the hill hoping that the deer would go about there business, not noticing me. When I reached the rocks I was out of breath. I think I had a little "Buck Fever". I got my dead rest on a rock when they started heading out. This little buck stood broad side to me and I took my shot. I looked up seeing that he was wounded. He ran a little ways and finally went down. Everybody came rushing up with the four wheelers and we took him down the mountain and gutted him. He was just a two point, but I was proud of my kill.

Cub River Hike

A couple of weekends ago on a Friday afternoon Bryce and I went on a hike to Cub River. It was beautiful day, the trees were changing colors from a green to a bright Orange. We have taken this hike once before while we were dating. We had to rack our brains to figure out how to get there, between the two of us we found it. We hiked on the trail enjoying the nice cool weather and the beautiful stream along the trail.

Welcome home.

I am so excited. Bryce is coming home this week for good. No more traveling back and forth for Idaho to home. We keep kidding each other that we are going to have to learn to live together all over again. Not that it was hard to learn to live together before.
We are heading to Ibapah and then to Ely Nevada, for the fair. My little niece Raven and my cousin Amy are showing their sheep's and piggies. It should be fun. There are Horse races and dancing and just a fun filled time.
I guess this is Bryce and mine little vacation before we head back to school again.
I will post pictures and report how the fair was.

Just living life.

Bryce and I have been traveling back and forth just so we can see each other on the weekends. I went to Oakley last weekend. Although Bryce had to work we still got to spend some time together. Bryce taught me how to bale. It was fun. I didn't know that you would have to concentrate on so many things at once.
I am excited to be heading up there again this weekend to spend the 24th of July holiday up there. Bryce and I are going to play in a basketball tournament down there. We will see how out of shape I really am.
It as been a long and short summer. The week days drag on forever and the weekends just fly by.

The Willow Park Zoo.

My Mom and my niece Raven came to visit me last week. We had a good time. We went to the the Willow Park Zoo. It is a fun little zoo. Raven got to feed the ducks and a peacock that had little babies. After our fun filled time at the zoo we went to eat at Cafe Sobor. It was delicious! I even got to where a the Happy Birthday hat and enjoy the best fried Ice Cream. I was very happy that they came to visit me.

Weekend

This weekend I went to see Bryce in Idaho. On Saturday we went to the Goose Creek Reservoir there in Oakley. It was a cloudy day and a little chilly. We walked a crossed the old creaky wood bridge, which made me a little nervous. I don't like water very much and it was a long way down.
There was a waterfall flowing into the reservoir. Bryce and I hiked to the waterfall and got some good pictures.
We came in counter with two lizards. Bryce found the one and I was scared to death by the other as I was climbing the rock face and had no where to go.
I had to come home early to teach my primary class. I was sad to get up and leave Bryce this morning. When I arrived home I wrote him a text and told him I made it. He wrote back that he would be here in a minuet. I was really surprised and happy that I was able to spend anther day with my husband:)

Bryce Birthday

Today was Bryce's birthday. It probably wasn't the most exciting birthday he has ever had but, it was okay. This morning we enjoyed sleeping in. When we finally rose out of bed I fixed Bryce breakfast. As we were enjoying breakfast we kept hearing people honk as they drove past. At first we just thought that they were honking for someone but after the third car honked we looked out the window. There was a sign on our lawn that said, "Honk It Is Someones Birthday". Needless to say we herd a lot of honking through out the day. Bryce reared back pulling in a big breath before he blew out the 27 candles on his birthday cake. Bryce was happy to get three new shirts, a pair of pants, tie, and a new rope. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Our Sheep Filled Easter

We went to Ibapah for Easter. We met up with Brent, Carolyn, and Krystal and headed to Ibapah. We sheered sheep all day Saturday. Brent, my dad, Bryce and Nathan took turns sheering. Poor Brent got stuck sheering the monster buck. Bryce and Nathan were a little slow, but they seem to get the job done. Krystal and I were the mighty wool stoppers.
Krystal, Amber and I went for a little horse back ride. We enjoyed the sunshine and the chit chat.
My parents and I went to the Box Canyon. We drove to the end of the road and then rode the four wheelers through the white hills to the Box Canyon. We hiked up the canyon. When we returned back to the truck we enjoyed some yummy left overs and snacks.
HAPPY EASTER

Conference

Bryce and I attended the Saturday afternoon session of conference. This was the first time I had ever been to conference and in the conference center. It was a very beautiful building that can hold a lot of people. I really enjoyed conference and the spirit that enter the conference center when President Thomas S. Monson walked in. Bryce and I have enjoyed watching conference together but I think he missed the Easter dinner at his moms house.
We are excited for Easter weekend. We are going to go to Ibapah and Bryce gets to sheer sheep. It should be an exciting weekend when it gets here.

Bryce and I both had tests today. Bryce had a test in chemistry and I had one in nutrition. We both feel okay about them. We will have to wait and see what the test scores reveal. We only have three more weeks of school left and finals week. We are excited to be done with school for the summer. Hurray:)

Getting Started

Sara and I met at the Block and Bridal club at Southern Utah University the fall of 2005. She thought that I was an old married man at the time. Though I knew who she was I didn't have much to do with her for a few months. I called to ask her out and talked to her mother who answered Sara's cell phone, when Sara's mother gave her the message Sara didn't even remember who I was. I guess the old married man really made quiet the impression on her)but it only took asking her out once and she was hooked or maybe I should say I was hooked!!!!

Us

Bryce and I are currently living in Logan. We are enjoying the winter weather that we are getting in March. Bryce is "trudging" through this semester. He only has a year to go. He is very excited to go to Idaho and work with his brother on a Farm, doing what he loves this summer. I am currently working at an Orthodontist office, which I love very much. I am also taking a nutrition class at USU and I am going to take some summer classes to get my prerequisites for Dental Hygiene School. I am sad that Bryce is leaving me for the summer. I think I will have to start some evening activities so I don't have time to miss him.
